Hey guys,
Happy new year! 2014 was a BIG year for you and me. All of a sudden, my first class of Wheels for Ed kids became Akron I PROMISE Network students and the leaders of my program. I cannot express how proud I am of all of you. I remember the first time we met, in the gym at East CLC. Do you remember that? Man, you guys were so tiny, now look at you! In 2015 I want you to PROMISE that you will contine to be my leaders and role models for our Wheels for Ed kids.
You might have heard that I am sitting out for a few games. I don’t want you guys worrying about me, I am going to be just fine. I am surrounded by my incredible family, trainers, teammates, and coaches. We all will face adversity and when we do, we have to lean on those closest to us… you can never do it on your own.
