Hey guys,
We’re a family and that means a lot to me. As a family, we have each other’s backs. We’re a support system.
When the going gets tough we lean on our family. If we start to tear each other down, or if we become negative, the going gets even tougher. As we enter the holiday season, I call on all of my Akron I Promise Network students to set an example for your peers and our Wheels for Ed kids by keeping a positive attitude. When someone falls down, help them up. If someone is struggling, help them find answers. We have to do better.
Our community is our home and it’s our job to make it shine.
Before you go to bed tonight, I want you to take some quiet time and think about what you can do to strengthen our community and this family.
I’m lucky to be a part of your family and I can’t wait to watch you lead.
