PROMISE Project Episode 6

Although the PROMISE Project was in the home stretch, there was little time to slow down and rest. The final hurdle: the third floor. To complete the project it took everyone we knew. From mothers and grandmothers to accountants and local football teams, the Foundation was surrounded by an incredible Northeast Ohio family.
In the home’s stuffy, third floor attic was Melanie and LaToya’s bedroom. While a team of volunteers was gutting the third floor, Luxury Heating and Hippich Electric were hard at work, installing a brand new central air system.
Melanie’s room was another complete team effort: Williams Flooring took care of the hardwood; Thomarios and Sherwin Williams coated the walls; Hippich Electric lit the room; and Value City Furniture decked the halls!
"You walk into a room and you see people with three or four different shirts on, it’s incredible," said LeBron James, taking a short break from the day’s work.
The PROMISE Project seemed to have caught up with LeBron as he was the first person to sleep on the brand new king size bed.
The verdict? "Oh wow, this is beautiful," said Melanie, fighting back tears.
