On Friday night, the Fighting Irish crowd saw a familiar sight on their sideline in a tall and ever athletic number 9. LeBron paid a surprise visit to the Fighting Irish as they took on the Walsh Jesuit Warriors. On the sidelines, LeBron wore his familiar number 9. As a football player at St. Vincent – St. Mary High School, LeBron earned All-State honors before giving up the gridiron for the hard-wood.
Both the black jersey worn by LeBron and the green uniforms worn by the Fighting Irish were donated by LeBron and the Foundation to St. V in the fall of 2013.
