PROMISE KEPT
They’ve dazzled in the LeBron James Arena at St. Vincent – St. Mary High School and next fall, they’ll dazzle in the Wolsteen Center at Cleveland State University and in Rhodes Arena at The University of Akron.
Earlier this month, Seniors Jibri Blount and Josh Williams signed national letters of intent. Jibri committed to play basketball at the NCAA Division I Horizon League’s Cleveland State University, just 30 miles north of Maple St. Josh has committed to play for LeBron’s mentor and former high school coach, Keith Dambrot, at The University of Akron which competes in the NCAA Division I MAC Conference.
We look forward to watching the Fighting Irish compete for a State Championship this winter and we are proud of Josh and Jibri’s commitment to education.
