How are all of MY kids doing? I bet your summer has been just as busy as mine…
I hope you have heard the news that I am now a Cleveland Cavalier, but did you see my shout out to all of you in my letter?
You are always on my mind and I wanted the whole world to know it:
My presence can make a difference in Miami, but I think it can mean more where I’m from. I want kids in Northeast Ohio, like the hundreds of Akron third-graders I sponsor through my foundation, to realize that there’s no better place to grow up. Maybe some of them will come home after college and start a family or open a business. That would make me smile. Our community, which has struggled so much, needs all the talent it can get.
You guys are one of my biggest sources of pride. I hope you always remember that I am so proud to call Akron our home and I am so proud to be on this journey with you.
I can’t wait to see you guys in August! I PROMISE!!!
