Hey guys!
How are my Wheels for Ed kids doing? We are starting to head into my busy season… last night we played our first pre-season game when we played a team from Israel! This week, my teammates and I are going to head over to Brazil to play some pre-season games. I love traveling, but for me, there is no place like home.
I PROMISE TO ASK QUESTIONS AND FIND ANSWERS. Never stop asking questions… ever. By asking questions we find answers, and by finding answers we learn and grow. As a father, husband, friend, and teammate, I am learning and growing every day.
If I am unsure of my position on a specific play, no matter what is going on, I ask Coach Blatt. If you do not know the answer to the problem on the board, or if you are having a hard time reading a certain word, I want your hand to shoot straight up like you are going to swat a jump shot, and I want you to ask your teacher for help. If people laugh, block them out, because ultimately the answer to your question will help the entire classroom. The only way we get better is by learning, and together, you and I are going to learn every day.
Even though I’ll be on the road I will be wearing my I PROMISE bands and thinking about you guys.
