LeBron, The Foundation, and The University of Akron have committed to a long term partnership that will, at the least, see nine classes of Wheels for Education and Akron I PROMISE Network students attend The University of Akron on a special I PROMISE Scholarship. Thousands of students, who, when they joined our Wheels for Education family in their third grade year showed researched back characteristics for high school dropout, have the opportunity to earn a free world class education in their hometown. We are calling our kids to be dreamers, and we are calling them to reach their unlimited potential.
We are a family. We are Zips.
On Tuesday, October 21, 2015, at the State of the University address, the President of The University of Akron, Dr. Scott Scarborough, unveiled the flagship commercial for the University’s new Unlimited campaign. The campaign, which is set to run in select markets nationwide, stars some very special and very familiar faces: LeBron; his Ambassadors; his Wheels for Ed kids; and his Akron I PROMISE Network students.
